Great to see Jerome showing how soft plastics are being turned into fence posts. We encourage every winery, farm, park and any organisation that is buying fence posts to buy these "recycled" posts. We all need to be buy "recycled" to allow us all to recycle more...

Wellington residents can drop off their soft plastic packaging from Monday at six Countdown and Warehouse stores. Collections are carried out by Earthlink in Lower Hutt – a community enterprise which employs people who struggle to get into work due to mental health, addiction and other barriers. This supports our commitment to the environment and the community. The collected soft plastics is sent to Second Life Plastics in Levin where they will be used in the manufacture of cable covers, garden edging and other products.
