There are 50 drop off stations where it's hoped 75 tonnes of waste will be saved from going to the landfill. Hamilton Supermarkets get involved in recycling iniative
Hamilton City Council became the first council in New Zealand to officially support the Love NZ Soft Plastic Recycling Programme.
A seat made from 15,000 plastic bags was donated to the students from Peachgrove Intermediate School on Monday March 21.
The seat was unveiled at the Hamilton launch of the new Soft Plastics Recycling Programme at Countdown Claudelands.
Over 200 people threw Tuffy Plastic in the Countdown Recycling bin – for the chance to win their own Tuffy BBQ and support the Alzheimer's Association.
